General

The Ibanez AR series is known for its distinct design and is still a great sight to see. The proud heir of this series is this Ibanez AR220 IV with an Ivory finish, combined with gold-coloured hardware, that give this instrument a very tasteful appearance. The mahogany body, neck and headstock are decorated with beautiful bindings. The top is made of maple, which greatly contributes to the richness of tones.
Tri-sound
The AR220-IV provides you with various tone controls and pickup switches. Firstly, it's equipped with two ACH humbuckers, each with a volume and tone knob. Secondly, this guitar has two Tri-sound switches that allow you to choose between series, parallel and coil-tap operation. With the 3-way pickup switch you can switch between the pickups. In other words: with the AR220-IV, you have a very wide range of sounds at your disposal.
Ibanez AR220-IV: bridge
This solid-body guitar is fitted with an Ibanez ART1-bridge with Quik Change Classic tailpiece. This construction provides optimal sustain and resonance through the body. Moreover, the strings of this guitar will retain their tuning for a longer period of time. Its distinctive headstock and neck profile really bring to mind a classic single-cut guitar. At such a tight price/quality ratio, Ibanez gives you this white beauty, a highly inspiring instrument.

Two New Metal Machines from Ibanez

Ibanez has added two guitars to its Iron Label RG series: the RG and the RG-7. These are real metal machines but with a spalted maple top and headstock. Apart from that, they have the standard Iron Label RG features, with two EMG humbuckers, 24 jumbo frets and a neck made of maple and bubinga.
