General

The Ibanez AFJ91-SRD Sunset Red is the perfect guitar for Jazz guitarists. Its traditional features combined with the beautiful Sunset Red Finish, make this guitar an amazing instrument to look at. This hollow-body guitar displays authentic Jazz-guitar characteristics. For instance, it has frets that are more narrow, to allow for an easier, more comfortable playing experience. That distinctively warm Jazz sound is also contributed by the wood types used: rosewood, mahogany and maple. Especially the maple in the body of the guitar makes for a nice, warm sound.
Features
The Ibanez AFJ91-SRD Sunset Red has a laminated flamed maple body with a set-in neck, a volume and tone control, gold-coloured hardware and 21 narrow frets. With the controls you can easily adjust the timbre of the tone and turn the volume up or down. The guitar also features a neck pickup: the Super 58 Custom Humbucker. This pickup is quite common for Ibanez Jazz guitars as this humbucker has a distinctive influence on this guitar's warm sound.

Two New Metal Machines from Ibanez

Ibanez has added two guitars to its Iron Label RG series: the RG and the RG-7. These are real metal machines but with a spalted maple top and headstock. Apart from that, they have the standard Iron Label RG features, with two EMG humbuckers, 24 jumbo frets and a neck made of maple and bubinga.
