General

This hollow-body semi-acoustic guitar is fit for jazz and blues music, but also knows how to deal with real rock and roll. The Ibanez AF55-ABF belongs to the Artcore series and has an Amber Burst Flat finish. The body is made of maple and has f-shaped sound holes. The ART-ST bridge and the VT60 tailpiece give extra power to the hollow-body signature of this instrument.
Ibanez AF55-ABF: playability and clean sound
For smooth playing, the set-in mahogany neck has a rosewood fretboard which is equipped with 20 frets. As a result, you can play licks and slides with ease. Ibanez has selected the ACH-ST humbucker to function as the bridge and neck pickup which creates a very clean sound with rich tones. The Ibanez AF55-ABF is a high-quality hollow-body guitar in a very attractive price range and is fit for beginning as well as advanced guitarists.

Two New Metal Machines from Ibanez

Ibanez has added two guitars to its Iron Label RG series: the RG and the RG-7. These are real metal machines but with a spalted maple top and headstock. Apart from that, they have the standard Iron Label RG features, with two EMG humbuckers, 24 jumbo frets and a neck made of maple and bubinga.
