General

Hercules is famous for developing affordable yet highly efficient DJ products. The Hercules DJ Control Air for iPad is yet another innovative product that follows the latest DJ developments. Just connect the digital DJ controller to an iPad with a Lightning connector (like the iPad Retina and iPad Mini) by means of the included Lightning-USB cable. For older models (like iPad 2 and 3), you can use the familiar, separately available Camera Connection Kit. The Hercules DJ Control Air is also compatible with PC and Mac!
The green-and-black DJ Control Air for iPad
The DJ Control Air for iPad is a rather striking device. Its comfortable faders and rotary knobs are fitted with bright green caps, that don’t just look cool but are also very convenient in dark DJ booths. Other features are a set of pressure-sensitive jog wheels, allowing you to scratch, navigate tracks, and control the pitch bend. Let's not forget the origins of its name, though. The Air function makes it possible to control a function without actual physical contact - just move your hand above the device!
Pads, software and connectors
The eight pads allow you to control the sampler, effects, and loops, and they can be set as on/off switch or based on the speed of your touch. You can communicate with your iPad, PC, or Mac by means of the included user-friendly DJUCED software. For the iPad, you can download the DJUCED app in the App Store. The DJ Control Air is fitted with a sound card, so you can easily plug in your headphones or monitor speakers.
