Voor u ziet u een re-issue van de Guild Starfire IV, een illuster gitaarmodel dat halverwege de jaren '60 op de markt kwam. Met dit verse exemplaar bezit u het authentieke rock 'n' roll-karakter van Guild, zonder een kostbaar veertig jaar oud exemplaar te hoeven kopen. Deze Starfire IV heeft een Cherry Red-finish en is voorzien van hoogglanzende urethaanlak.

Door deze lak heen is het gelamineerde mahoniehout te zien, waarvan de body is vervaardigd. De driedelige hals is ook van deze houtsoort gemaakt en heeft 22 frets in de aanbieding. Deze zijn van het 6105-type: smal en vrij hoog. Op de kop zijn Grover Sta-Tite stemmechanieken aanwezig, waardoor ongewenste stemmingswisselingen weinig kans maken.
60s-bite dankzij Dual Coils
De Starfire IV, uit de Newark St. Collection van Guild, bevat liefdevolle details. Zo heeft de kop een Chesterfield-inlay en zien we een harpvormig staartstuk. Natuurlijk ontbreken sierlijke 'f'-gaten niet. De zwarte slagplaat draagt de naam van de bouwer. De vintage-pickups van Guild (Anti-Hum Dual-Coil) bieden de geliefde klank van de oorspronkelijke Starfire, die doet denken aan de markante gitaarsounds uit de jaren '60 en '70. Dubbele tone- en volumeregeling zijn aanwezig en een koffer wordt meegeleverd. Puur karakter.
