General

The Guild D-125CE (Natural) is an electro-acoustic western guitar from the GAD family. This Guild Guitars series puts the full, pure Guild sound within hand's reach for the serious amateur. Solid mahogany was used to fashion the natural-coloured body, which works to give the guitar a remarkably full sound and great projection. It also features a built-in Fishman Sonitone system for amplifying your sound.

Mahogany, rosewood and mother-of-pearl

When a guitar is made of mahogany, you know it's definitely taken things to the next level from an entry-level model. Mahogany is a wood type that guarantees excellent resonance with warmth and yet still provides a good dose of brightness. Furthermore, the Guild D-125 CE features a bridge and fretboard made of rosewood, and it has a number of luxurious details such as the mother-of-pearl rosette and inlays. It even comes with a deluxe hardshell case.

Playability and amplification

Of course, it wouldn't be a Guild guitar if you didn't have a comfortable playing experience. To ensure that, you'll find that the slim neck has been given a satin gloss finish, and a cutaway has been added for easy access to the highest frets. Furthermore, this instrument is easy to amplify thanks to the Sonitone Soundhole Pickup system by the famous Fishman. The volume and tone controls are on the inside of the body on the edge of the sound hole to make them as unnoticeable as possible, so you can still enjoy the pure looks of an acoustic guitar.
