In 2013 it was exactly 130 years ago that Gretsch Drums was founded. To mark this joyous occasion, Gretsch introduced three exclusive snare drums that year, including this Gretsch Drums 130-65141S-CW Solid Walnut Limited Edition snare.

Walnut is a slightly softer wood type than maple and as such, walnut snare drums produce a warmer tone with an enhanced mid-end, impressive bass frequencies and a sharp attack. Thanks to its natural sound, this snare drum offers a wide tuning range, and can be used for any music style you can think of.
