General
This Gretsch Drums drum kit is part of the Renown Maple series, which has been modelled after the manufacturers flagship, the USA Custom Range. The kit features a gorgeous Dark Walnut Satin finish and shells made of 6-ply North American maple, a wood type that ensures a warm, full-bodied tone and excellent sound projection. Play this ultra-solid kit, and you'll instantly recognise the authentic Gretsch sound. Take note, though – only a limited number of these beautiful kits have been made available throughout Europe, so you'd do well to order yours quickly!
Gretsch Renown Maple Dark Walnut Satin: a limited edition
This four-piece Gretsch Renown Maple Dark Walnut Satin drum kit comprises a 22-inch bass drum, a 12-inch tom, a 16-inch floor tom and a matching 14 x 6.5-inch snare drum, providing you with a configuration for a solid rock sound. The shells are equipped with 30-degree bearing edges, enhancing the resonating quality of the wood, and combine modern hardware with good old-fashioned craftsmanship. The high-grade die-cast hoops keep your kit tuned to perfection at all times, the G1 tom mount enables you to securely suspend your tom, and the G1 2-point ITS tom mounting system allows for enhanced resonance, as it reduces the contact between shells and hardware to a minimum.
Hardware and drumheads
The Gretsch Renown Maple Dark Walnut Satin LTD kit is supplied with Remo USA drumheads, including Emperor Clear batter heads for the toms and a Powerstroke 3 Clear batter head for the bass drum. This limited edition drum kit offers an excellent price-quality ratio! A hardware set, consisting of two cymbal stands, a rugged snare stand and a hi-hat stand, complements the shells nicely - all you need now is a decent set of cymbals and you're ready to rock out!

It's a lovely, attractively priced parlour-style guitar that makes you think of the early Delta Blues. An instrument like this really doesn't need to be changed.
