By sticking to their tested concept, Gretsch has always managed to produce their own distinct sound. The drum kits from the Gretsch USA Custom series are still handmade in the old-fashioned way in Ridgeland (South Carolina, USA), and comply with the familiar standard of 6-ply shells with 30-degree bearing edges. It is hard to describe the characteristic Gretsch sound in words, but listen to famous drummers like Charlie Watts, Vinnie Colaiuta and Phil Collins and you'll know exactly what we mean.
Gretsch Q3 Limited Edition
Gretsch Drums has been producing high-quality drum kits since 1883. To mark their 130th anniversary, Gretsch released a limited edition drum kit for each quarter of 2013. This six-piece Gretsch Q3 Limited Edition is the largest configuration of the four, and only twelve of these sets have been made available in Europe. The Q3 set comes with a certificate of authenticity, and the shells are fitted with unique serial numbers and special labels on the inside.
A true all-rounder
The Gretsch Q3 Limited Edition set has a striking Vintage Cherry Burst Satin finish, and an extensive configuration, consisting of a rugged 22-inch bass drum, 10-inch and 12-inch toms, two floor toms of 14 and 16 inches, and a 14-inch snare drum. Thanks to its versatile setup, this great all-rounder can be used for any music style and does not only look fabulous, but sounds fantastic too!
