Hij wordt al een tijd niet meer gemaakt, dus grijp uw kans! Deze inruilgitaar is een Limited Edition Gibson Les Paul Studio Swamp Ash uit 2003. Kenmerkend voor dit model is de fraai generfde essenhouten body en, voor dit productiejaar typerend, een inlay-loze donkere ebbenhouten toets. De gitaar is technisch in uitmuntende staat. De frets zijn nog bijna als nieuw. Maar omdat het hout van de body niet gelakt is, zijn er duidelijke speelsporen aanwezig. Hij wordt geleverd inclusief originele Gibson USA koffer - met defect slot - en chromen straplocks.

2003 Les Paul Studio Swamp Ash: milieuvriendelijk

De Gibson Les Paul Studio Swamp Ash behoort tot de Smartwood-serie gitaren. Gibson houdt al jaren rekening met het milieu, dus werd er voor dit model FSC-gecertificeerd essenhout gebruikt. Anders dan bij het traditionele mahonie en esdoorn, produceert dit hout wat minder mids waardoor het hoog wat sprankelender aanwezig is en de bassen wat dieper klinken. De mahoniehouten gelijmde hals voegt hier de nodige warmte aan toe en het ebbenhout zorgt voor extra bite. Kortom, een authentieke Gibson Les Paul sound, maar met een twist.

Hardware en pickups

De 2003 Les Paul Studio Swamp Ash is uitgerust met een set soepele maar stabiele Gibson Deluxe stemmechanieken. De brug is een volledig verstelbare Nashville-stijl Tune-O-Matic in combinatie met een Stop Bar staartstuk. De gitaar beschikt over Gibson's klassieke 490R/498T-elementconfiguratie. De 490R-humbucker bij de hals heeft een Alnico II-magneet voor een warme, zoete klank. Terwijl de Alnico V-magneet van de 498T in de brugpositie een wat agressiever en punchy geluid produceert, voor die crunchy rock sounds.
