Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers uses these GHS strings to create his robust sound, in the studio as well as live. These M3045F are Flea's signature strings. This four-string set is fit for long-scale (34-inch) electric bass guitar strings. As the name suggests, the Bass Boomers produce an explosion of low tones in your bass sound!

Properties of the GHS M3045F Bass Boomers

The M3045F are made from nickel-wound steel and the E-string is provided with a special combination of stainless steel and nickelled steel. The result is a string set with powerful, deep bass tones, brilliant trebles, a lot of volume and a great sustain – this is the sound of Flea and it is perfect for slap bass styles!

Jarenlang gebruik gemaakt van GHS Bassboomers, nog net wat setjes aangeschaft.

Ik heb deze op mijn Epiphone Thunderbird Pro gezet, omdat m'n oude D'addario snaren hun klank weer verloren waren, en ik was aangenaam verrast!
Deze snaren hebben niet voor niets de naam "Bass Boomers" gekregen. De klank die ik uit deze snaar kreeg was heel vol en krachtig, vooral de lage tonen van mijn E snaren komen veel sterker door als ervoor!

Wat ik wel een nadeel vind is dat deze snaren, in vergelijking met D'addarios, onder veel spanning staan. Dit bemoeilijkt het spelen met de vingers wel een beetje maar voor de klank die ik nu krijg, is het dat echt waard!
