General

Als uitbreiding van het laag, dat bij kleinere actieve monitors vaak onderbedeeld is, is de Genelec 5040 BPM de gewezen subwoofer. Deze is speciaal ontworpen voor de compacte (surround-) monitors van Genelec, zoals de 6010A. De 5040 BPM heeft een 6.5 inch woofer, die bevestigd is op een stevige aluminium grondplaat. Dankzij de 40 Watts versterking kunnen baspieken tot 98 dB (SPL) worden bereikt, waarbij vervorming niet aan de orde is. Onderscheidend is de standbyfunctie, die na een uur van stilte in werking treedt.

Genelec 5040 BPM: professionele surround-sub

Voor surround-mixen in compacte studio’s is deze subwoofer een handige schakel. Er zijn analoge in- en uitgangen voor alle kanalen in een surroundmix. Ook is een 3.5 mm stereo-minijack-aansluiting aanwezig, om computers en mediaspelers aan te kunnen sluiten. Een losse volumeknop biedt u optimale, snelle controle over de geluidssterkte. De subwoofer is slechts 6 kilo en is magnetisch afgeschermd. De Genelec 5040 BPM is de perfecte ondersteuning voor compacte, actieve monitors.
