Het fenomeen van de bass shaker is niet nieuw, maar blijft opzienbarend. Het Duitse Fischer Amps vervaardigt de ButtKicker, een bass shaker met een sterk muzikaal karakter, die zich prima laat inzetten op podia, bijvoorbeeld als onderdeel van een monitorsysteem. Om de ButtKicker aan te sturen is een externe versterker nodig. Voor het beste resultaat kiest u voor deze Fischer Amps Shaker Amp 400. Een microfoonvoorversterker met 48 V-fantoomvoeding is geïntegreerd, voor direct aansluiten van bassdrum-microfoons.

Toegespitst

Om de specifieke bass shaker-frequenties zo goed mogelijk door te zenden, heeft deze versterker een actieve crossover aan boord. Deze voorziet in een instelbare low pass en een 20 Hz high pass, zodat de frequentiecurve naar wens kan worden bijgesteld. Het vermogen bedraagt 400 W aan 4 Ohm (bij gebruik met twee ButtKicker LFE’s) of 600 W aan 2 Ohm, in combinatie met de ButtKicker Concert. Handig te monteren in een 19 inch rack en slechts 1 HE hoog.
