General

Fender komt met een wel heel bijzondere uitvoering van de Standard Telecaster. Deze Mexicaanse Tele is namelijk afgewerkt met een spectaculaire meerkleurige "swirl" finish. Hiervoor is de body van de gitaar volledig ondergedompeld in een speciaal bad met een draaikolk van verschillende kleuren verf. Dit unieke marmer-effect verscheen voor het eerst in de jaren '80 op de zogenoemde "bowling ball" Stratocaster. Elk patroon is uniek, dus geen gitaar is hetzelfde. De Limited Edition Standard Telecaster Swirl is beperkt tot slechts 60 stuks voor heel Europa en Bax-shop.nl heeft er twee!

Constructie van de Fender Standard Telecaster Swirl

De Standard Telecaster Swirl heeft een massieve elzenhouten body en een geschroefde hals uit één stuk esdoornhout. De brug is een moderne Tele-stijl met "string-through-body" en zes verstelbare zadels. Deze combinatie van houtsoorten en brugconstructie levert een zeer directe klank met strakke bassen, rijke mids en sprankelende trebles. Verder is de gitaar uitgerust met twee single-coil elementen, een volume- en toonknop. En met de drieweg elementschakelaar gaat u van een felle lead sound op het brug-element naar het warme hals-element of de "twangy" tussenstand.

Moderne kenmerken

Dit werkpaard beschikt over enkele moderne upgrades ten opzichte van zijn vintage-voorouders. Zo is de 21-frets hals voorzien van een moderne plattere 9,5 inch toets-radius. Dit betekent dat u gemakkelijker en zonder nare bijgeluiden uw snaren over de gehele hals kunt opdrukken. Daarnaast zijn alle uitsparingen voor de elektronica volledig afgeschermd om zo de typerende 50Hz brom van de single-coils tegen te gaan. Verder is de vintage-stijl brug met drie zadels vervangen door een modern type met zes zadels, voor een betere afstelling en optimale intonatie.

Een geweldige gitaar, klinkt scherp en bijtend zoals het hoort bij een tele.
Lak finish op het fretboard speelt ook erg fijn, vooral met benden.
En het design spreekt voor zichzelf!

Fender recently announced a number of new mandolins: the Concert Tone Mando Pack , Concert Tone FM52E , Concert Tone FM53S , Concert Tone FM63S and the Concert Tone FM63SE . The 53 series features the well-known classic teardrop shape, while the 63 series consists of gorgeous Baroque style mandolins.
