General

When the Fender Stratocaster first hit the market in 1954, it revolutionised the guitar industry. Over sixty years later, the Stratocaster is one of the most often imitated - but never matched - instruments. This is the Limited Edition American Special Stratocaster, issued to commemorate the Strat's 60th birthday. An American Special Strat is a genuine American-made Stratocaster at a reasonable price, and should you opt for this Limited Edition you get your hands on an exclusive, dark beauty.

American Special Stratocaster: Texas Special and Grease Bucket

American Special Stratocasters are equipped with Texas Special pickups that produce tight bass sounds, clear mids and sparkling trebles, making them ideal for gritty blues like that of Stevie Ray Vaughan, for instance. The spicy Texas Specials are a great match for the balanced tone of the alder body and clear sparkle of the maple fretboard. Additionally, the Grease Bucket tone circuit is a characteristic feature for the American Special series and filters out trebles without adding bass.

Limited edition

It's not uncommon to fall for the sleek looks of this sharp-dressed Stratocaster. Its combination of a maple fretboard and All Black body and pickguard is quite an unusual one among Fender guitars and so very exclusive. Fender Introduces Upgraded Mandolins!

Fender recently announced a number of new mandolins: the Concert Tone Mando Pack , Concert Tone FM52E , Concert Tone FM53S , Concert Tone FM63S and the Concert Tone FM63SE . The 53 series features the well-known classic teardrop shape, while the 63 series consists of gorgeous Baroque style mandolins. Furthermore, the E at the end of certain type numbers stands for 'electric', which means that besides the fully acoustic models, there are also electrical models available.
