General

Fender FSR-producten zijn om goed in de gaten te houden. Het gaat om gelimiteerde exemplaren, die meestal nooit meer terugkomen. Deze FSR Blues Junior III TT Blue Eagle is zo’n voorbeeld: een oerdegelijke gitaarversterkercombo met buizentechniek. De kleurstelling is uniek: blauw vinyl wordt gecombineerd met een bruine ‘Wheat’-grillbekleding. Zwarte zijkanten en een ‘dog bone’-handvat dragen bij aan de vintage-uitstraling van deze degelijke Fender-versterker. Slechts 80 exemplaren zijn over Europa uitgestrooid, dus ga voor deze memorabele uitvoering.

Redenen om deze Blues Junior te bemachtigen zijn er absoluut. Naast het uiterlijk vinden we onderhuids een aantal buizen. Drie 12AX7-exemplaren doen de voorversterking. Twee EL84-buizen, voorzien van schokdempers, gaan voor de eindtrap en leveren 15 Watt. Het vermogen wordt gevoerd aan een flinke 12 inch Eminence® Screamin Eagle™-speaker. Deze biedt een breed, levendig geluid. Met een diep laag en een crunchy bite: niet te versmaden in combinatie met de buizenkarakteristiek.

Degelijke speelgenoot

Met een gewicht van 14 kg is de FSR Blues Junior III geen kolossaal bakbeest, maar laat hij zich prima verslepen van oefenruimte naar podium of slaapkamer. Diverse regelaars zijn aanwezig, zoals reverb, EQ en volume. Een optionele voetschakelaar laat schakelen naar de ‘Fat’-stand. Naar wens zijn externe speakers aan te sluiten op de versterker, zodat u bijvoorbeeld in de studio kunt experimenteren met verschillende klanken. De Blues Junior III is in deze kleurstelling een begerenswaardige versterker. Beschikbaar zolang de voorraad strekt.

Fender Introduces Upgraded Mandolins!

Fender recently announced a number of new mandolins: the Concert Tone Mando Pack , Concert Tone FM52E , Concert Tone FM53S , Concert Tone FM63S and the Concert Tone FM63SE . The 53 series features the well-known classic teardrop shape, while the 63 series consists of gorgeous Baroque style mandolins. Furthermore, the E at the end of certain type numbers stands for 'electric', which means that besides the fully acoustic models, there are also electrical models available.
