De Fender FSR '72 Telecaster Custom in schitterend transparant oranje is een Limited Edition uitvoering uit de Factory Special Run serie. Deze zogenoemde FSR gitaren worden in beperkte oplages gebouwd en beschikken over diverse unieke upgrades ten opzichte van de 'lopende band'-modellen. De gitaar die u hier ziet is gebaseerd op de betaalbare Mexicaanse Classic serie Telecaster Custom. Hij is echter uitgerust met twee vette P90 single-coil elementen en voorzien van een chique crèmekleurige binding langs de rand van de body.

Vintage-correcte details van de FSR ‘72 Telecaster Custom P90

Omdat deze gitaar is gemodelleerd naar de Telecaster Custom uit 1972, beschikt hij ook over diverse periode correcte details. Zo heeft hij een fraai generfde essenhouten body, voor een extra diepe en tegelijkertijd super-sprankelende sound. De 21-frets vintage-stijl hals is met slechts drie schroeven bevestigd aan de body en is bovendien voorzien van Fender’s Micro-tilt regeling. Hiermee kunt u de halshoek aanpassen zonder de hals-pocket te hoeven vijlen of op te vullen. Zelfs de seventies stijl "bullet" trussrod-moer, vintage "F"-stijl stemmechanieken en juiste Fender logo zijn toegepast op de kop. De brug is een Stratocaster type hardtail met zes verstelbare zadels en snaren door de body voor meer sustain en een directere toon.

Dubbele P90 elementen

De Telecaster Custom onderscheidt zich van de meer traditionele Telecaster door zijn grote "thinline"-stijl slagplaat plus afwijkende elementen en elektronica. Deze FSR uitvoering kreeg bovendien twee P90 single-coils in plaats van een Wide Range humbucker bij de hals en standaard single-coil in de brugpositie. Deze elementen bieden u het beste van twee werelden. Ze combineren de rijke cleans én "spank" van een single-coil met de warme, volle klanken van een humbucker. Verder is de drie-standen elementschakelaar verplaatst naar schuin boven het hals-element, en kregen beide elementen een eigen volume- en toonregeling.

Fender Introduces Upgraded Mandolins!

Fender recently announced a number of new mandolins: the Concert Tone Mando Pack , Concert Tone FM52E , Concert Tone FM53S , Concert Tone FM63S and the Concert Tone FM63SE . The 53 series features the well-known classic teardrop shape, while the 63 series consists of gorgeous Baroque style mandolins. Furthermore, the E at the end of certain type numbers stands for 'electric', which means that besides the fully acoustic models, there are also electrical models available.
