Deze zwarte Tele is een uniek model uit de Factory Special Run-serie van Fender. Hij is gebaseerd op de Mexicaanse Classic-serie '72 Telecaster Custom, maar is uitgerust met een set P90 elementen voor een wat warmere sound. Daarnaast kreeg de body rondom een sierlijke crèmekleurige binding zoals bij de "thinline" modellen. Kortom, een betaalbare Fender Telecaster Custom met enkele zeer aantrekkelijke upgrades ten opzichte van de standaard fabrieksmodellen. Deze Limited Edition uitvoering is slechts zeer beperkt verkrijgbaar en op is op. Dus wees er snel bij!

FSR ‘72 Telecaster Custom P90: vintage-correcte details

De '72 Telecaster Custom wordt gekenmerkt door een grote slagplaat die vanaf boven tot aan de elektronica loopt en een humbucker bij de hals. Bij deze FSR-uitvoering zijn echter twee P90-elementen toegepast. Hierdoor is de kenmerkende "ashtray" brug vervangen door een Strat-stijl vaste brug met zes verstelbare zadels en "string-through-body" constructie. Zoals een echte seventies Tele heeft ook dit model een 21-frets hals die met drie schroeven bevestigd zit aan de elzenhouten body, inclusief Micro-Tilt stelschroef. En natuurlijk mogen de vintage-stijl "F" stemmechanieken en periode-correct Fender logo op de kop niet ontbreken.

Dubbele P90 elementen

De Telecaster Custom onderscheidt zich van de meer traditionele Telecaster door zijn grote "thinline"-stijl slagplaat plus afwijkende elementen en elektronica. Deze FSR uitvoering kreeg bovendien twee P90 single-coils in plaats van een Wide Range humbucker bij de hals en standaard single-coil in de brugpositie. Deze elementen bieden u het beste van twee werelden. Ze combineren de rijke cleans én "spank" van een single-coil met de warme, volle klanken van een humbucker. Verder is de drie-standen elementschakelaar verplaatst naar schuin boven het hals-element, en kregen beide elementen een eigen volume- en toonregeling.

Fender recently announced a number of new mandolins: the Concert Tone Mando Pack , Concert Tone FM52E , Concert Tone FM53S , Concert Tone FM63S and the Concert Tone FM63SE . The 53 series features the well-known classic teardrop shape, while the 63 series consists of gorgeous Baroque style mandolins. Furthermore, the E at the end of certain type numbers stands for 'electric', which means that besides the fully acoustic models, there are also electrical models available.
