De Fender CF 100 CE Folk is een prachtig beginnersinstrument, dat zowel onversterkt als versterkt kan worden ingezet. Deze western-/folk-gitaar, van het zeer populaire Fender, heeft een rijke, krachtige klank en past goed bij onder meer rock, pop en country. Versterkt u de Fender CF-100 CE, dan kunt u met de ingebouwde voorversterker de klankkleur nauwkeurig afstellen. Verder heeft hij een wat bredere hals en compactere klankkast, wat heel prettig is voor de beginnende gitarist!

De akoestische klank van de Fender CF100CE

Het geluid van de 'staalsnaar' is de meest gehoorde akoestische gitaar-sound in de popmuziek. Waar de nylon snaren van een klassieke gitaar een rond geluid produceren, zorgen de stalen snaren van de westerngitaar voor een sprankelend geluid. De Fender CF-100-CE heeft een sparrenhouten bovenblad, dat bijdraagt aan de helderheid, maar tegelijk vol en gebalanceerd klinkt. De mahonie zij- en achterkant doen ook nog een helder-diepe duit in het zakje. De naturelkleurige body heeft bovendien een parelmoeren klankgat-rozet en fraaie bindings.

Live-gebruik, opnames en stemmen

Ten opzichte van de CF-100 heeft de Fender CF100-CE twee belangrijke voordelen: de cutaway (uitsparing) geeft u meer ruimte bij de hoogste frets en dankzij de ingebouwde preamp kunt u de gitaar eenvoudig versterken. Sluit hem met een instrumentkabel aan op een PA-mixer en hij is gereed voor bijvoorbeeld podium-gebruik of opnames op uw computer. Met de volume-, bas- en treble-knop regelt u het geluid af en middels de ingebouwde tuner met display stemt u uw gitaar in een handomdraai!

Fender Introduces Upgraded Mandolins!

Fender recently announced a number of new mandolins: the Concert Tone Mando Pack , Concert Tone FM52E , Concert Tone FM53S , Concert Tone FM63S and the Concert Tone FM63SE . The 53 series features the well-known classic teardrop shape, while the 63 series consists of gorgeous Baroque style mandolins. Furthermore, the E at the end of certain type numbers stands for 'electric', which means that besides the fully acoustic models, there are also electrical models available.
