General

Met deze prachtige versterker tovert u schitterende blues-geluiden uit een compact combo. De Sandy Blonde Junior III is onderdeel van de Hot Rod serie van Fender. Het combo is vaak terug te vinden in studio's maar wordt ook veel gebruikt op grote podia. Door het relatief lage gewicht in combinatie met zijn bescheiden afmetingen is hij zeer mobiel terwijl de Sandy Blonde toch een zeer krachtig geluid levert. Het bijzondere aan deze versterker is het feit dat hij uit een Factory Special Run (FSR) afkomstig is. Deze FSR serie van de Blues Junior III is voorzien van een 12-inch greenback speaker van de bekende speaker-fabrikant Celestion. Bax-Shop verkoopt slechts 2 van deze versterkers dus wees er snel bij!

Blues Junior III Sandy Blonde FSR: echte buizenpower

Het geluid van deze versterker staat bekend om zijn warme toon en moddervette mids. Dit is mogelijk door het gebruik van 3 voorversterkerbuizen van het type 12AX7 en twee EL84 buizen in de eindtrap. Het totale vermogen ligt hierdoor op 15 Watt. De versterker beschikt over één kanaal waardoor u niet verdwaald in een doolhof van verschillende mogelijkheden. U heeft een preamp-volume, een 3-bands EQ en een master-volume tot uw beschikking. Met een laag ingestelde preamp krijgt u de bekende cleane sound van Fender. Zet het preamp-volume hoger en de versterker zal een prachtige overstuurde sound voortbrengen. Om een ruig randje hieraan toe te voegen kunt u de “Fat”-boost inschakelen. Tot slot is er een reverb aanwezig in de vorm van een echte galmveer.

Overzicht van de versterker

De versterker ziet er met zijn 'Sandy Blonde' uitstraling prachtig uit. Deze retro-look is ook doorgetrokken naar de knoppen van de amp die uitgevoerd zijn in de 'chicken-head'-stijl. Met een Celestion Greenback speaker waant u zich helemaal in het verleden terwijl de versterker prima in staat is om moderne sounds voort te brengen. Kortom, een prachtige versterker waarvan er slechts enkele zijn gemaakt.

Fender Introduces Upgraded Mandolins!

Fender recently announced a number of new mandolins: the Concert Tone Mando Pack , Concert Tone FM52E , Concert Tone FM53S , Concert Tone FM63S and the Concert Tone FM63SE . The 53 series features the well-known classic teardrop shape, while the 63 series consists of gorgeous Baroque style mandolins. Furthermore, the E at the end of certain type numbers stands for 'electric', which means that besides the fully acoustic models, there are also electrical models available.
