General

This Telecaster is a very special Fender from their Blacktop series, as it is a Baritone guitar, which means that its scale length is longer than the standard 25.5 inches. Its 27-inch scale length allows you to use this Telecaster for lower tunings while retaining this guitar's tuning excellently. This guitar comes with a .013 string set and is tuned from B to B.

Fender Blacktop Telecaster Baritone Ghost Silver: versatile baritone guitar

This Fender Blacktop has a balanced base sound with a mild emphasis on the warm mids and clear trebles thanks to its bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fretboard as they give the alder body this highly versatile Fender sound. Three pickups in an HSS setup take care of this Fender's amplification. Learned guitarists will know that HSS means that this guitar houses a humbucker in the bridge position and a single-coil pickup in both the mid and neck position, making this Blacktop Baritone an incredibly versatile instrument that can be used in numerous genres. Think of metal, surf music and the low guitar sounds from Ennio Morricone's legendary films.

A full Telecaster sound that is rich in sustain

The five-way pickup switch allows you to fully utilise this Fender Blacktop Telecaster's numerous sounds as well as accurately tune them. The volume and tone potentiometers swapped places, giving you unhindered control over the volume knob. The six adjustable saddles of the Start-style bridge allow for accurate intonation. As this fixed bridge features a strings-through-body construction, you can depend on this guitar's full, sustain-rich Telecaster sound.

Fender Introduces Upgraded Mandolins!

Fender recently announced a number of new mandolins: the Concert Tone Mando Pack , Concert Tone FM52E , Concert Tone FM53S , Concert Tone FM63S and the Concert Tone FM63SE . The 53 series features the well-known classic teardrop shape, while the 63 series consists of gorgeous Baroque style mandolins. Furthermore, the E at the end of certain type numbers stands for 'electric', which means that besides the fully acoustic models, there are also electrical models available.
