General

Oude Fenders zijn felbegeerd bij muzikanten en verzamelaars vanwege hun ongeëvenaarde kwaliteit, klank en bespeelbaarheid. Met de American Vintage serie biedt Fender u de kans om het echte vintage gevoel te beleven voor een prijs die vele malen lager ligt dan het origineel. Deze rode American Vintage ’65 Stratocaster is een minutieus gedetailleerde replica van een Dakota Red Strat uit 1965. Het jaar waarin de Stratocaster zijn dikke hals terug kreeg, maar dan met een meer comfortabel afgerond C-profiel. De dikke palissander toets werd vervangen door een dunnere die in de radius mee was gelamineerd, inclusief grotere positie-stippen van parelmoer.

Authentieke details van de American Vintage ’65 Stratocaster

De American Vintage ’65 Stratocaster kreeg ook diverse kleinere maar zeer belangrijke authentieke details. Zo is de gitaar uitgerust met een periode-correcte drie-laags witte slagplaat met elf schroefgaten. De drie “Grey Bottom” single-coil elementen zijn gemaakt volgens de exacte specificaties als het origineel. Dus een grijze onderzijde en de juiste geëmailleerde draad. Ook de afmetingen en afrondingen van de hals en lichtgewicht elzenhouten body zijn nóg nauwkeuriger geworden. De brugzadels hebben de bekende “Pat. Pend” stempels gekregen en de gehele gitaar is gespoten in nitro-cellulose lak. Zelfs de meegeleverde koffer met accessoires zijn precies zoals men ze vroeger meekreeg bij de gitaar.

American Vintage serie: accurater dan ooit tevoren

Net zoals bij de American Standard serie besloot Fender om voor 2012 de American Vintage serie flink te updaten. Er zijn nieuwe iconische jaren ’50 en ‘60 modellen bij gekomen die tot in de kleinste puntjes ‘vintage-correct’ zijn uitgevoerd. Om dit te realiseren moest de gitarengigant terug in de tijd, door de specificaties en details van talloze originele oude exemplaren nauwkeurig te onderzoeken en te bestuderen. Fender heeft zelfs het gereedschap uit deze periode weer nieuw leven ingeblazen, om zo tot een authentiek eindresultaat te komen. Elk model heeft nieuwe elementen gekregen, speciaal gewonden naar de specificaties én klank van vintage referenties. Ze vertegenwoordigen niet voor niets Fender’s meer dan 60 jaar lange befaamde muziekgeschiedenis.

Fender recently announced a number of new mandolins: the Concert Tone Mando Pack , Concert Tone FM52E , Concert Tone FM53S , Concert Tone FM63S and the Concert Tone FM63SE . The 53 series features the well-known classic teardrop shape, while the 63 series consists of gorgeous Baroque style mandolins. Furthermore, the E at the end of certain type numbers stands for 'electric', which means that besides the fully acoustic models, there are also electrical models available.
