General

Dat metal-merk LTD eigenlijk van alle markten thuis is, blijkt wel uit deze aantrekkelijke elektrische gitaar. De body van de LTD ST-203 Maple Distressed BLK (Black) is een gouwe ouwe, net als zijn set van drie felle enkelspoels elementen. Samen met de bijpassende helder klinkende esdoorn toets en de vol en gebalanceerd klinkende kwaliteitsbody van elzenhout zetten ze een sound neer die uitstekend samengaat met stijlen als country, ska en pop. Een prachtig en goedklinkend model voor iedereen die een flinke stap verder wil dan een beginnersgitaar.

De vintage look van de ST-203 BLK

LTD heeft alles uit de kast getrokken om van de LTD ST203 een heerlijk vintage ogende gitaar te maken. Behalve de eerder genoemde 'single coil' pickups, is hij namelijk voorzien van een klassieke tremolo-arm, voor het maken van subtiele, smaakvolle vibrato-effecten. En als klap op de vuurpijl kregen de body en toets van de zwarte ST-203 een verweerde ('distressed') afwerking. Zo lijkt het alsof deze gitaar al tientallen jaren bespeeld is. Verder is dit LTD-instrument uitgerust met een slanke, zeer comfortabele hals en extra grote frets, voor soepele snaarbuigingen.
