General

ESP/LTD and Suicide Silence bass player Dan Kenny decided to design an instrument together and the result's this 5-string model. The LTD DK-5 has ESP's distinctive Forest-model body, brandishing a dark-green sunburst finish. In order to cater to the advanced bass player with a full, balanced and high-quality sound, the body of this bass guitar was made of mahogany. Additionally, its EMG 40DCs guarantee a versatile, powerful sound that varies from the cleanest trebles to the gnarliest basses.

The neck of the DK-5

LTD and Dan Kenny have fitted the LTD DK5 with several luxury features, such as a neck-through-body construction for improved sustain and attack. Flip the bass guitar over and you'll notice that the neck is made of five pieces (alternately maple and walnut) for a gorgeous look as well as added stability. What's more, the neck is surprisingly slender, allowing for incredibly smooth motions of your left hand.
