General

Alexi Laiho, lead-gitarist/zanger van Children of Bodom, ontwierp met ESP een reeks indrukwekkende gitaren. De LTD Alexi-600-BLACKY biedt de ambitieuze gevorderde muzikant een set professionele kenmerken, waaronder een Floyd Rose tremolo. De vol klinkende elzenhouten body herbergt een voortreffelijke EMG HZ F-H2. Loeiende solo's dus, bijgestaan door de goede sustain van een neck-thru-body-constructie. Samen met de ebbenhouten toets levert deze bovendien een directe klank.

Het uiterlijk en de snelheid van de Alexi-600

Bij een begenadigd frontman als Laiho hoort natuurlijk een gitaar met een onberispelijk uiterlijk. De Alexi-600-BLACKY bezit een opvallende afgeschuinde a-symmetrische body met stijlvolle zwarte strepen. Op de toets treffen we fraaie gekartelde positievlakken. Laiho is daarnaast een van de snelste metal-gitaristen op deze aarde, dus wenste hij een dunne hals en cutaway, samen met extra jumbo- frets. Dankzij dit grote formaat frets buigt u de snaren ongekend soepel.
