General

Allereerst is de Electro Harmonix LPB-2ube een analoog 2-kanaals-pedaal waarmee u uw signaal kunt boosten op warme, transparante en gedefinieerde wijze. Dit hoogwaardige pedaal maakt hiervoor gebruik van twee 12AX7WB-buizen. Gebruik het om bijvoorbeeld uw gitaar-, synthesizer- of basgeluid de noodzakelijke gain mee te geven, voor een luid, clean en vet signaal dat uw digitale opnames enorm veel kracht geeft.

Stereo-stereo of mono-stereo

Sluit de stereo-uitgangen van uw instrument aan op de inputs van EHX LPB-2ube en stuur ze - individueel versterkt - naar uw mixer. U kunt de 2ube echter ook als signaalsplitter gebruiken. Sluit uw gitaar aan op de rechter (mono)-input en laat de andere input open. De twee outputs kunnen nu gebruikt worden om het signaal gesplitst naar bijvoorbeeld twee gitaarversterkers te sturen, op verschillende gain- en volume-niveaus.

De LPB-2ube als distortion-pedaal

De Electro Harmonix LPB 2ube kan tevens als vol klinkend overdrive/distortion-pedaal worden ingezet. Hiervoor zet u de twee kanalen van het pedaal in serie, door simpelweg uw gitaar op de rechter (mono)-input aan te sluiten en een patch-kabel te plaatsen tussen de linker input en rechter output! Het sterk en warm klinkende buizen-distortiongeluid gaat nu via de linker output naar uw gitaarversterker.
