The DN-SC2000 is a compact, professional and rugged steel DJ MIDI controller, designed for mobile DJs. The portable and user-friendly DJ MIDI controller can be used with a mixer and software of your choice for a versatile setup. Thanks to a two-layer system, the DN-SC2000 can operate two decks simultaneously (with visible deck colour changes), or be combined with another SC2000 for four-deck control.
The DN-SC2000 has been optimised for Traktor Pro (Native Instruments) users and is supported by Virtual DJ/Numark CUE. The device can be connected to your PC or Mac by means of the USB 2.0 interface. The Denon DN-SC2000 features a good deal of advanced functionality, including MIDI-assignable controls, an auto loop function, a range of effects, a rugged pitch slider, a pitch lock function, automatic beat sync, durable rubber buttons and much more.

Nu is er wel een ding dat ik minder vind: De grootte van het toestel. Er is op de markt geen enkele flightcase te vinden om ze apart te vervoeren. Ik vind het heel vervelend om ze altijd in hun dozen te vervoeren. Misschien een opdracht voor BAX of Denon om een standaard flightcase te maken voor dit toestel.Ik had bij aankoop ook niet gedacht dat dit toestel zo klein ging zijn. Aan de andere kant is het handig, omdat het gewoonweg niet veel plaats inneemt.
Een kleine onhandigheid is de lengte van de USB kabel. Deze is aan de korte kant, maar dit valt op te lossen door gewoon zelf een nieuwe te kopen
Maar toch een toptoestel!
In 1e instantie had ik een Traktor X1 besteld, maar miste toch een jogwheel, dat is gewoon heel prettig bij het in-mixen!
De layout lijkt wat druk, maar is eigenlijk heel logisch. Alles is met een duidelijke onderverdeling neergezet.
Het wisselen van deck werkt ook prima. Ik kan mijn 2 Akiyama Acura's dan ook wel weg doen, want het tijdcode systeem is volledig overbodig geworden!
Al zou ik er in de toekomst nog wel een controller bij willen, omdat het wisselen van deck soms best verwarrend kan werken denk ik.
Maar al met al een prachtig apparaat!

kortom dit is de controller waar ik al die tijd op gewacht heb!

Hij heeft een robuuste bouw en de clickdown knoppen zijn van hoogwaardig kwaliteit.(denk aan de NI X1)
Jogweel draait precies goed en de pitch is lang en heel erg precies(14bit-100mm).
Mooie en duidelijke LED verlichting die bij het wisselen van FX1 naar FX2 en van Deck A naar Deck B van kleur wisselen zodat je niet in de war raakt.
De ''Endless Rotary'' knoppen draaien soepel en zijn overal inzetbaar dus voor ieder wat wils.
Ik zeg koop er 1 om te testen en laat je weer verbazen door de kwaliteit
van DENON.(ik ga zo mijn 2e bestellen kan ik 4 deck's besturen).
