General
Armed with this fantastic DJ set - consisting of two Denon SC2900 tabletop players, a Denon DN-X1600 digital four-channel mixer and a pair of Denon DN-HP700 headphones - you're fully equipped for DJ club gigs or mobile disco sets.
Denon SC2900
The SC2900 is Denon's answer to the renowned CDJ2000, Pioneer's market-dominating tabletop player. With the SC2900, Denon has really caught up, though! The player looks like the SC3900, but lacks a rotating platter and, as such, has a more cost-efficient design. The player can serve as a MIDI controller for Traktor, and is also compatible with Engine, a counterpart for the well-known Rekordbox. The tabletop player allows for easy playback from CDs and USB sticks, and features a USB-link function that enables two tabletops to use the same USB stick simultaneously. Additional features of the SC2900 include visual cue point markings, a Slip mode and a waveform display.
Professional mixing with the DN-X1600
In order to fully benefit from the power of the Denon SC2900 tabletop players you need an equally high-grade mixer. Take the Denon DN-X1600, for instance. This digital four-channel DJ mixer has functions that will turn your mix into a work of art. In order to provide a great match for the highly effective SC2900, the DN-X1600 is equipped with a MIDI out, which enables you to use the mixer with most virtual DJ software. An 8-channel, low-latency audio interface ensures a smooth connection between software and hardware. The DN-X1600 offers no fewer than 14 effects that can be freely assigned to all four channels. Additionally, the mixer is equipped with an LED VU meter, a 3-band EQ and a crossfader with adjustable slide torque. The Denon DN-X1600 is ideal for use in clubs, for mobile discos and for other professional applications.
DN-HP700 headphones
The Denon DN HP700 closed dynamic headphones are ideal for DJs who like to monitor their mixes at a high volume. Thanks to their closed design, these headphones can handle a power of no less than 1,700 mW without any loss of sound quality. They are equipped with high-grade 40mm drivers that deliver full-bodied, powerful bass tones, even at extremely high volumes. Thanks to the hinges above the drivers, the DNHP700s can easily be folded into a compact unit, which makes them ideal for use on the road.
Tips or comments about this product- Tabletop CD players are always supplied with a short RCA-RCA cable, which enables you to connect the player to a mixer. For intensive use, we recommend that you add a more supple cable with more rugged connectors to your order, such as the Procab CAB800.
