General

De meeste compressor/gates zorgen voor een kleine muzikale compressie gecombineerd met een kleine gating. De goede engineering in de 166XL zorgt ervoor dat compressie en gating echt veel waarde toevoegt aan een goede "sonic performance", zoals ze dat zo mooi zeggen. De limiter daarnaast zorgt voor de nodige limiting, waarbij u alles in kunt stellen: van kleine "peak leveling" tot agressieve "peak limiting". Door middel van de verschillende LED displays kunt u daarnaast gemakkelijk de gain reductie en de compressie/gate threshold controleren en door de aparte limitersectie is deze compressor/limiter zeer geschikt voor live-optredens.
