General

The SC-5 is a 2-channel mixer that can be used to mix the signal of a 14 inch jack input with the signal of a stereo RCA input. Both inputs have volume control and transmit to a stereo RCA output.

The SC-5 allows for easy mixing of audio and video. The mixer can also be used for other applications, as an aerobics set, for instance. Just connect a (wireless) microphone and a music player. Because the SC-5 mixer is compact, it can be used at every location.

Wrote the following about DAP SC-5 2-channel mini mixer

Ik heb dit kastje aangeschaft om een eigen monitor mix te maken tussen mijn eigen synthesizer en een aux kanaal. hierbij heb ik gebruik gemaakt van goede bekabeling (vergulde pluggen) en heb het twee liveoptreden uitgeprobeerd. conclusie: de kwaliteit is echt slecht. Het signaal vervormd bij het geringste volumeniveau. Stereosignaal blijft niks van over (ook niet bij gebruik van de stereoingang). Absoluut niet te vergelijken met de kwaliteit van mijn Soundcraft mengpaneel. Goedkoop, duurkoop dus! Heb nu de Samson s-monitor besteld (vergelijkbaar kastje 52,- met goede reviews). Ben zeer benieuwd!

Wrote the following about DAP SC-5 2-channel mini mixer

Handig kastje wanneer je iets met je (draadloze) microfoon wil doen zonder een heel mengpaneel mee te nemen.

Wel handig om te weten is dat de RCA ingang omgezet wordt naar een mono-signaal, dus niet zomaar overal tussen te plaatsen.

Een leuk dingetje voor als je wilt draaien met bijv. een laptop maar toch graag een microfoon wilt aansluiten (deze mixer heeft 1 stereo en 1 mono ingang), maar meer kun je er eigenlijk ook niet mee

Pluspunten:
-Iedereen kan er mee overweg, erg makkelijk in gebruik.

Minpunten:
-Deze mixer heeft 2 draaiknoppen, geen faders, hierdoor ziet het er niet echt uit als een mengpaneel.
