General

De Casio WK serie is een brede serie van keyboards voor beginners maar ook professionals. U heeft 76 fullsize pianotoetsen om te bespelen en alle versies hebben een ingebouwde versterker met speakers. Alle keyboards van Casio zitten degelijk in elkaar met een duidelijke lay-out voor de selectie van de verschillende tonen.

Ingenieus Casio Step-Up leersysteem:

De WK-500 valt onder Casio's high grade series en dat is zeker te merken! U krijgt zeer geavanceerd instrument waarmee u perfect kunt leren spelen. Het step-up leersysteem zorgt ervoor dat u in kleine stapjes leert door zelf te ervaren. U kunt uw eigen tempo de lessen volgen en alles per hand leren spelen. U kunt daarnaast gebruik maken van de arpeggiator die ervoor zorgt ervoor dat u automatisch akkoorden kunt afspelen.

Grote collectie geluiden en effecten op de WK-500:

Naast de goede leerfunctie heeft deze WK-500 ook nog eens een verbluffende collectie van 670 AHL-klankkleuren, 200 ritmes, 100 DSP effecten en nog talloze andere functies. Via de klankkleureditor kunt u ook nog eens 100 eigen klanken worden geproduceerd. Via het pitchbend wiel kunt u ook nog eens eenvoudig toonladders maken en het geluid transponeren.

Recorder:

Via de ingebouwde recorder kunt u 6 verschillende sporen opnemen. Het keyboard heeft ook een audio ingang zodat u muziek kunt afspelen terwijl u zelf meespeelt. Zo kunt u ook nog samples uit bestaande nummers toevoegen en hier uw eigen muzikale sausje over gieten. Uw producties kunnen worden opgenomen en opgeslagen via een SD-kaart of via het interne geheugen.

Met deze WK-500 krijgt u een zeer complete keyboard waar u zeker niet snel op uitgekeken zult zijn!

NAMM 2016: Casio MZ-X: A New MZ-2000?

The image below recently turned up on the internet. Based on the text and the accompanying specifications, we assume that Casio is trying to lure us to their NAMM booth so they can present their latest keyboard/synthesizer: the MZ-X. This will likely remind keyboard enthusiasts of the MZ-2000, an old Casio model that, considering the words 'Reinvented, Reimagined, Reborn' is apparently about to be brought back to life. Rumour has it that two models will be released, the MZ-500 and the MZ-1000, but take that with a grain of salt; it's very possible that MZ-X is indeed the final name for this workstation.
