De Casio CTK serie is een brede range van keyboards waarmee zowel beginners als professionals uit de voeten kunnen. Alle keyboards van Casio zitten degelijk in elkaar met een duidelijke lay-out voor de selectie van de verschillende tonen. U heeft 61 fullsize toetsen om te bespelen en alle versies hebben een ingebouwde versterker met speakers.

Eigenschappen van de CTK-1100:

Met dit Casio CTK-1100 keyboard heeft u 100 instrumenten, 100 ritmes en nog eens 100 songs. Via een groot en duidelijk LCD-display kunt u eenvoudig uw combinatie van instrument en ritme kiezen. Daarnaast kunt u eenvoudig de songs kiezen, oefenen en stopzetten wanneer u dit wilt.

Ideaal voor beginners:

U kunt ook via het Melody Cut systeem instellen met welke hand u de verschillende passages wilt oefenen. Op deze manier kunt u stapsgewijs leren om met twee handen te spelen. U kunt daarnaast zelf bepalen of u de akkoorden automatisch mee laat spelen of dat u dit doet wanneer u een toets aanslaat.

NAMM 2016: Casio MZ-X: A New MZ-2000?

The image below recently turned up on the internet. Based on the text and the accompanying specifications, we assume that Casio is trying to lure us to their NAMM booth so they can present their latest keyboard/synthesizer: the MZ-X. This will likely remind keyboard enthusiasts of the MZ-2000, an old Casio model that, considering the words 'Reinvented, Reimagined, Reborn' is apparently about to be brought back to life. Rumour has it that two models will be released, the MZ-500 and the MZ-1000, but take that with a grain of salt; it's very possible that MZ-X is indeed the final name for this workstation.
