De JS-8 eBand van Boss is een draagbare audioplayer waarmee u lekker kunt jammen. De eBand kan WAV- en MP3-bestanden afpelen en u kunt er het tempo en de toonhoogte van wijzigen zodat het past bij uw wensen. De krachtige COSM-voorversterker en de BOSS-effecten voegen net dat beetje extra flair toe. Met de Center Cancel-functie kunt u de zangpartij afzwakken. Daarnaast is er een bibliotheek met begeleidingen en ritmes, een tuner en een metronoom aanwezig.

De eBand wordt geleverd met BOSS-effecten die van de GT-10 afgeleid zijn. Zo zijn er meer dan 100 gitaareffecten aanwezig voor alle muziekstijlen. De bediening is erg handig. Dankzij het icoontje en het soundraster vormt de EZ-tone functie een snelle manier om met nieuwe geluiden voor de dag te komen. Deze kunt u opslaan op de SDHC-geheugenkaarten met een capaciteit tot 32GB. Dit komt neer op duizenden WAV/MP3-songs per kaart. Verder kunt u WAV/MP3-bestanden op een USB-geheugenstick direct afspelen, zonder het te moeten importeren.

De USB audio-interface van de JS8 eBand kan tevens als USB audio-interface worden gebruikt. De audiosignalen van de JS-8 kunnen via de USB naar uw computer worden gestuurd. U kunt de eBand dus ook voor audio-opnamen met uw DAW gebruiken. De eBand bevat een interne recorder voor de opname van loops als begeleiding. Of u gebruikt een van de 300 audioloops voor een inspirerende begeleiding. Uiteraard is er ook een tuner en metronoom aanwezig.

Boss, a pioneer in effects pedals, is launching three new effects pedals with the BC-1X, VB-2W and VO-1. These are a bass compression pedal (BC-1X), a reissue of the VB-2 vibrato (VB-2W Waza Craft) and a stompbox-sized vocoder (VO-1). Boss decided to release a reissue of the popular VB-2 vibrato pedal, and Boss Japan gave it their blessing in the form of the Waza Craft label.
