De Blackstar HT Club 40 Vintage Pro is een Limited Edition-versie van de bekende HT Club 40 buizengitaarversterker-combo. Hij onderscheidt zich door zijn rode Artisan Tolex-vinyl, dat we normaal aantreffen op de duurdere Artisan-reeks van Blackstar. Het wordt hierdoor een wel erg smakelijke, vintage ogende 'tube amp' die natuurlijk tevens voorzien is van stijlvol zwart speakerdoek. En net als de gewone HT Club 40 bezit hij twee kanalen, om moeiteloos van heerlijk clean naar moderne high gain-klanken te gaan.

HT Club 40 Vintage Pro: scala aan sounds

Het 40 Watt aan buizen-geweld wordt mede voortgebracht door twee ECC83- en twee EL34-buizen en naar buiten gestuwd door een sublieme Celestion Vintage 30 luidspreker. Een interessante extra functie is het gepatenteerde ISF, ofwel Infinite Shape Feature; hiermee creëert u een waar scale aan klanken, die variëren van Brits tot Amerikaans en alles daartussenin. Wissel snel van kanaal met de meegeleverde voetschakelaar.

Een complete versterker

De Blackstar HT Club Pro 40 Vintage Pro is een zeer complete buizenversterker. De gitarist beschikt hiermee over een amp met effects-loop, waarvan het niveau instelbaar is op +4 dB of -10 dB. Maar ook zonder effectpedalen kunt u al vooruit, dankzij de ingebouwde digitale reverb. Om de combo een flinke dosis extra kracht te geven, sluit u één of twee luidsprekers aan op de luidspreker-uitgangen. Het geluid kan tevens via een line-uitgang met speaker-nabootsing de combo verlaten.

The Blackstar Artist Series: Classic and Versatile

Blackstar has gone from a newcomer to an established name in a short space of time. One of their greatest assets is the Infinite Shape Feature or ISF circuit (as it's otherwise known) that they developed themselves. With the ISF circuit, Blackstar managed to greatly increase the versatility of tube amplifiers without the use of digital technology. The new Artist 15 and Artist 30 models both have an ISF circuit fitted and can produce the typical American 6L6 sound, as well as beloved British AC clean and crunch.

When it comes down to it, the British are very proud of their heritage, and clearly, so is amplifier-maker Blackstar, with the unveiling of their Limited Edition FLY 3. This mini guitar amp combo has a cream-coloured housing and the good ole Union Jack printed on the grille - you can't get much more patriotic than that! Of course, it also includes ISF and digital tape delay, making it just as good as any of Blackstar's other amplifiers.
