General

The Beyerdynamic Synexis RP8 is the ideal tool for tour guides and public speakers. It's a lightweight, compact beltpack that features an ergonomic design. The RP8 is a truly versatile unit that can be used for lectures, recitations, and speeches - but it's also an ideal unit for interpreters! Headphones can be connected to the unit via the mini jack connector, after which the headphone cable operates as an antenna - precluding the need for an external aerial. The range of the RP8 is 100 metres.

Features

The Beyerdynamic Synexis RP8 features an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Display). OLEDs are often used for small displays and are a quality alternative to 'traditional' LCD displays. As OLEDs require no backlighting, they need but little power! The display shows you all the information you might need, and it features a locking function, so that you won't accidentally switch channels during an important event.

General characteristics

The RP8 receiver is easily fastened to your clothing with the accessory clip. Alternatively, the receiver may be worn around the neck. Two AA batteries power the RP8, and thanks to the built-in charging contact points, you needn't take them out of the unit while charging! Furthermore, the receiver switches off automatically during charging.
