General

The exceptional Ayra ERO Minibeam 12 is a RGBW movinghead with Q4 (4-in-1) LED clusters. These clusters are divided into four segments that you can control independently in the most extensive operating modes. This allows for very creative chases. This LED movinghead has a small beam angle and a concentrated beam which results in the projection of a tight light beam and intense colours.

Technological details of the ERO Minibeam 12
The ERO Minibeam 12 is equipped with 12 Q4 CREE LED modules, each with a red, green, blue and white LED. You can control these in sets of three in the most extensive modus. Each module has a wattage of 10 W at a full output which is a total of 120 Watt of pure LED power! The beam angle is only 8 degrees so the beams are very tight and can easily pierce through your basic lighting. The CREE LEDS provide the LED light source with a long life span, a high intensity and perfectly blending colours.

Use of the ERO Minibeam 12
The ERO Minibeam 12 can be used in various ways. A couple of these LED movingheads already create a tight light show, but if you use more you can really optimise the effects. The ERO Minibeam 12 can be placed on a DJ booth, the edge of a stage or you can suspend it via the included mounting bracket that you can combine with an optional G hook or half coupler. With the practical (reversible) LCD screen you can select the right settings and/or addressing for each gig.

Wrote the following about Ayra ERO Minibeam 12 RGBW LED moving head

Vanmiddag in de lunchpauze besteld, vanavond om 18:30 binnen. Dat is nog eens snel!

Thuis stond alles al klaar dus even op DMX kanaal 35 hangen en gaan met die banaan. Helaas, geen licht uit te krijgen. Dus eens begonnen op kanaal 1. Werkte prima. En zo door tot kanaal 20. Prima, maar op kanaal 21 reageerde het ding niet meer. Wat blijkt? Mijn controller, van hetzelfde merk, is maar 48 kanaals en ook in 13 kanaals mode werkt deze lamp alleen als de controller voor alle 29 de kanalen van de lamp een waarde stuurt. De waardes van het 14e tot 29e kanaal wordt uiteraard genegeerd en deze kanalen zijn beschikbaar voor andere apparatuur maar als de data niet verzonden wordt dan geeft de lamp geen kik.

Uiteindelijk de hele kanaalindeling hier omgegooid en alles werkt nu. De lichtopbrengst is prima, veel beter dan verwacht. Bij het pannen op volle snelheid klinkt het wel of er een lager niet helemaal jofel is maar dat kijk ik nog even aan. Ik neem aan dat het een productiefoutje is. De snelheid zit er wel lekker in en is over een groot bereik in te stellen.

Samengevat, de pluspunten zijn de hoeveelheid licht, dat bovendien met alle kanalen open best redelijk in de buurt komt van wit, en de pan/tilt snelheid.

Het grote minpunt is wat ik niet anders dan een grote software bug kan noemen. Het probleem dat er ook in de 13 kanaals mode voor alle 29 de kanaalnummers een waarde ontvangen moet worden voordat de lamp op DMX reageert.
Een grote afrader dus voor mensen met een kleinere controller.

Maar heb je een grotere controller of ben je bereid het ding een laag kanaalnummer te geven dan is dit een prima product!

Wrote the following about Ayra ERO Minibeam 12 RGBW LED moving head

Eerst en vooral was de extra korting die Bax gaf op dit product een niet te versmaden kado ... bedankt !!

Output van deze moving head is indrukwekkend te noemen en het beam effect met een pufje rook schitterend.
Is dit dan de perfecte moving head ... nee. De tilt gaat slechts iets meer dan 180°, gevolg als je deze moving head op een totem zet dan kan je hem niet op de grond laten schijnen. Langs de andere kant schijnt hij steeds netjes boven de dansende mensen en krijg je geen commentaren over mensen die plots teveel licht in hun ogen krijgen.

Ze laten zich netjes besturen met dmx en de ventilatoren maken weinig tot geen lawaai.
