General

The Audio Technical AT2020 USB is a condenser microphone that is based on the AT2020 studio microphone. It's a rugged mic with a wide frequency response and good transient response. This ensures that the sound is reproduced in a detailed manner and with a warm soundtone. It is a great at processing high-output signals without overdriving, making it highly versatile. Like the name says, it is provided with a digital USB output so that it can easily be used in home studios, at recordings on location, for podcasting and voice overs. This microphone can be used without software.

Very complete set

Besides the microphone, the packaging contains a USB cable with a length of 3 metres, a table stand, a microphone clip, a screw thread adapter and carrying pouch. This way, you can easily take the mic with you and you will be able to enjoy studio- quality sound at all times. The pickup pattern of this microphone is cardioid, which means that it picks up sound at the front of the microphone, but suppresses noise from the sides and back. This makes that your voice or other sound source is clearly distinguishedable and you won´t be bothered by ambient noise.
