General

The iPod Shuffle series wouldn’t be complete without a purple model, and here it is! Anodised aluminium was used to fashion the sleek housing, which you might recognise from the MacBook series. Not only does anodised aluminium provide for a rugged, durable device, but it also makes the intense brightness of the purple finish possible. Small but sweet, the iPod Shuffle has 2 GB of storage space so you can take hundreds of songs with you anywhere you go. You’ll enjoy great functions such as a voice-over feature that announces the current artist, song title and battery status, as well as the Genius function, which suggests ideal mixes.

Operation

The iPod Shuffle’s trademark is the large operating button on the front, which you can use to skip through your music collection. You’ll be covered whether you prefer a fixed playlist or a random one, as you can add your own playlists or use the shuffle function. There’s also a new voice-over function that will announce the current artist and song title, as well as the battery status. It will also tell you the names of your playlists as you scroll through them.

The new iPod Touch is available in five colours: blue, pink, silver, gold and Space Grey with either 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB of storage space.
