American DJ blijft de toekomst in de LED techniek zoeken met deze Saturn Tri LED Sys, een LED-pakket bestaande uit vier Saturn Tri LEDs en de nodige bekabeling.
De Saturn Tri LED is een LED lichteffect dat acht lichtstralen uitzendt. De hoge lichtopbrengst zorgt ervoor dat het effect goed tot zijn recht komt, waardoor het effect ook met weinig rook benadrukt kan worden. Bovendien kunt u kiezen uit verschillende voorgeïnstalleerde kleuren door het Tri Color LED systeem, dat via DMX te besturen is. Naast DMX is het ook mogelijk om de LED effecten geluidsactief in te stellen en aan elkaar te linken in master/slave modus. Ook kunt u de basisfuncties besturen via de UC-3 controller die meegeleverd is. Tevens is een strobe-functie ingebouwd die met een instelbare snelheid het effect als stroboscoop in kan zetten. Daarnaast heeft u natuurlijk alle voordelen van de LED technologie van American DJ, zoals een laag stroomverbruik en een lange levensduur. De LEDs zijn geschat op maar liefst 50.000 branduur!
Naast de vier LED effecten wordt ook de nodige bekabeling meegeleverd, zodat u meteen aan de slag kunt. Bovendien is een UC-3 basiscontroller meegeleverd, die u kunt gebruiken voor het besturen van de basisfuncties. Wilt u meer mogelijkheden om de units aan te sturen, dan kunt u het best gebruik maken van een DMX lichtsturing.

Met hoge verwachtingen bestelde ik dit product en nam het in ontvangst.
Echter ben ik zeer teleurgesteld, vind het in tegenstelling tot Johan, een zeer matige lichtopbrengst.
Het filmpje beloofd veel meer dan het in werkelijkheid is.
Jammer, maar ik ga hem retour sturen.
P.S. Voor beginnende DJ is het wel een leuk setje, met zeer veel mogelijkheden en easy to use.

The difference can be found in the fourth colour that's been added to the fixtures' range. In the case of the QA12XS this is Amber, while the QWH12XS features White.
