"It is as if a moonflower and a jellyfish have made a baby." That is how the Jelly Jewel was described in one of the American DJ fragments at NAMM 2011! The remark refers to the transparent 'glow-in-the-dark' housing of this two-in-one light effect.

The Jelly Jewel packs two light effects in one. It has a transparent housing that is illuminated from within, creating a beautiful glow-in-the-dark effect. It also functions as a moonflower, projecting beams onto the dance floor. No external control is required: simply plug the Jelly Jewel into a power socket and it creates a great light show, all by itself!
Powerful LED technology
Like the regular LED Jewel, the Jelly Jewel is equipped with no less than 46 red, green, blue and white LEDs, allowing for a versatile show with great colour combinations. Thanks to its maximum power consumption of 10 Watts, this light effect can be plugged into any power socket, without any worries.

Het effect werkt direct op de stekker en er zijn geen instellingen mogelijk. Aansluiten op een DJ Switch werkt prima. Het programma dat het effect afdraait is gevarieerd en werkt op de muziek. Het heeft overigens volume nodig alvorens het effect actief beweegt en een beetje rook maakt het geheel af.
Dit effect is niet geschikt voor grote feesten. Ik zet ze zelf in voor feesten tot 300 mensen. Het effect leent zich goed om in tweetallen te werken.

Ze zijn maar van plastic dus voorzichtig mee omgaan.
De ophangbeugel is niet ideaal.
Eenmaal uit de verpakking is weer te lastig om ze erin te doen. Voor transport zal je zelf een klein kistje moeten gaan maken.
