De ELX2000 is het instapmodel van de ELX-serie die American Audio meebracht naar de NAMM 2013. Deze versterkerreeks is multifunctioneel in te zetten en bevat voornamelijk basisfuncties waardoor de prijs aantrekkelijk kan blijven. Opvallend is het grof geperforeerde frontpaneel waar verschillende blauwe LEDs achter schuilen, die een waar schouwspel in ieder versterkerrack geven. De ELX2000 leent zich voornamelijk voor kleinere topkasten en is zowel in te zetten voor vaste gelegenheden als voor mobiele setups. De ELX2000 is ventilatorgekoeld en beschikt over draadklem-terminals en vergrendelbare speakerconnectoren.
