General

The successor of the DM10 kit, this DM10 X electronic drum kit offers an excellent price/quality ratio and can certainly compete with drum kits from a higher price range.

The DM10 X: a great alternative for a traditional drum kit

With this DM10 X kit, Alesis' engineers really have gone out of their way to ensure an optimal playing experience. If you're practising your drumming in an environment where high volumes are not an option, an electronic drum kit is the ideal solution. As the pads and cymbals respond just like those of a traditional drum kit, you can practise your skills without making too much noise.

The DM10 X kit is comprised of 10 and 12-inch drum pads, 12, 14 and 16-inch cymbals and a DM10 drum module. Mounted on the chrome X-rack, which provides a nice visual contrast for the black pads and cymbals, the set provides you with a realistic playing experience. The rugged construction can be assembled in any way that suits your personal preferences.

Practice with an electronic drum kit makes perfect

The DM10 X set is equipped with a special DM10 module that not only converts triggers to audio, but also serves as a learning station. Featuring a built-in metronome, numerous different sounds and realistic tones, the DM10 drum module is the ideal system for drummers who want to practise at home without bothering others.

One of the reasons the DM10 X kit is able to offer such a realistic playing experience, is its Dynamic Articulation functionality. The Dynamic Articulation technology registers the force with which a pad is struck and determines the intensity of the corresponding sound accordingly. As such, you are able to play, for instance, drum rolls that gradually increase in volume.

Tips or comments about this product
  • Please note: the included drum module is a silver-coloured edition.
  • Please note: the pictured kick pedal is not part of the set. As the choice of a kick pedal is highly dependent on your personal preferences, Alesis has decided not to include one in the set.
  • This drum set requires a surface of approximately 1 by 1 metre.
