Deze stereoset van AKG bevat twee Perception 170 kleinmembraan condensatormicrofoons. Ze zijn onderdeel van de Perception serie van AKG, die geroemd worden om de goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. De lichtgewicht microfoons beschikken over een klein membraan die zorgt voor een helder en transparant geluid. Het frequentieverloop van beide microfoons is vrijwel identiek, waardoor de "matched pair" ideaal is voor het opnemen van stereobronnen, zoals piano's, overheads, percussie, orkest en koren.

Het geluid van de Perception 170 Stereo Set

De Perception 170 is een budgetmicrofoon die is ontworpen met meer dan zestig jaar ervaring op zak. Het resulteert in een microfoon met een ongekend goed geluid ten opzichte van de concurentie in het prijssegment. Het frequentiebereik is vastgesteld tussen 20Hz en 20kHz, wat gelijkstaat aan het menselijk gehoor waardoor u alles opneemt wat u met uw eigen oren hoort. Dankij het cardioide karakter kunt u de stereoset naast AB-opnames ook gebruiken voor XY-opstellingen.
