General

De MPC5000 is de meest uigebreide drum machine/sequencer uit de MPC serie. De MPC5000 is de eerste MPC die beschikt over 8-sporen streaming harddisk recording. Ook nieuw in de MPC serie zijn een 20-stemmige analoge synthesizer met arpeggiator en een nieuwe sequence processor met een resolutie van 960 ppq. Daar bovenop bevat de MPC5000 een 64-stemmige drum/phrase sampler met standaard 64 MB RAM geheugen, uit te breiden tot 192MB. Het LCD display is tweemaal zo groot als die van de MPC-2500, wat zorgt voor nog betere weergave. De virtueel-analoge synthesizer van de MPC5000 maakt het gebruik van externe analoge synth modules of software-gebaseerde synthesizers overbodig. De 8-sporen direct to disk recorder zorgt ervoor dat u uw hele song in de MPC kunt produceren en deze vervolgens kunt mixen. Kortom, een zeer veelzijdig apparaat waarmee u een compleet nummer kunt produceren, mixen én opnemen.
