General

The OctaMic II by RME is an eight-channel 192kHz / 24-bit converter with eight Class-A microphone and line preamp channels. It boasts low distortion, an excellent signal-to-noise ratio and a practically perfect linear frequency response.

This preamp is equipped with a balanced combination of Neutrik XLR/TRS inputs. Each channel features 48V phantom power, a low-cut filter and a phase reverse switch. The amplification can be set up for a seamless transition between 6 and 60 dB. What's more, it offers LEDs for clip, input signal and phantom status indication.

On the front, you'll find a switch to select a -10 dBV, +4 dBu or high-gain (+19 dBu) reference level, making the OctaMic II ideal for every RME audio interface, from the HDSP 9632 to the new ADI-8 series converters.

You can access the balanced output signal via the rear, by means of eight stereo TRS jacks. For outstanding studio and live recordings, the OctaMic II is the ideal preamp!
