To make sure that the audience is getting the best possible sound, the sound system 'out there' is often separated from the sound system on stage. The Radial OX8-R can be set up to support both systems. By taking all of the on-stage microphone signals and passing them onto both sound systems at the same time, this unit ensures clean and uncoloured audio transfer. The eight-channel Radial OX8-R uses high-quality transformers to counter ground loops and eliminate any unwanted buzz and hum, and this edition comes loaded with Jensen JT-MB-CPC transformers.

A Fuss-Free Eight-Channel Splitter

This sleek unit can be neatly slotted into any 19 inch rack and comes with eight XLR inputs lined up along the front panel for flexible rig integration. Around the back, parallel DB25 D-subs, Euroblok, and Phoenix inputs can be found as well as a direct output that serves as the 'straight through' connection; a second direct output with ground lift; and an isolated output for decoupling the microphone signals from the direct outputs. Every output can be parallel switched with the DB-25 and Euroblocks terminals for even further flexibility. And, since it's been built with the time-poor sound engineer in mind, this smooth operating, passive splitter doesn't even require an external power supply.
