General
If you've already opened up the gain and volume of the mixer, and your microphone is still too quiet, then simply clip on the super-tight Klark Teknik MIC BOOSTER CT-1. This bite-sized in-line preamp clips directly onto the mike and gives it a +25dB gain boost. Once connected, the mixer gain can be pulled back to a more reasonable level, leaving you with far better results, and you can use a longer XLR cable without fear of noise or signal-loss. Since the CT-1 doesn't pass on phantom power, it can safely boost the volume of more expensive ribbon microphones as well as passive dynamic microphones.
Tips or comments about this product- Please note: The Klark Teknik MIC BOOSTER CT 1 does not supply phantom power to the connected microphone. Therefore, the CT-1 is not suitable for condenser microphones or other active models that require phantom power.
- Please note: The Klark Teknik MIC BOOSTER CT 1 requires phantom power supply.

Purchased this to boost the signal of my Shure SM7b and it does the job exceptionally well for the price. Most would probably consider the cloud lifter to be the best option to use in this case but it’s way more expensive. So I thought I’d try this instead and save a little and I’m glad I did.
Admittedly haven’t used the cloud lifter, but the klark teknik attaches directly to the mic so only needs the one mic cable and provides an extra 25db of perfectly clean gain so I don’t need to crank my preamp so high that it induces noise. Well worth the price and arrived very quickly. Brilliant!

Utilisé sur un Rode Podmic et un Vocaster DM14v, le résultat est bien à la hauteur des attentes : un gain considérable, le son reste clair et plus besoin d'adapter le gain ou d'utiliser un post-traitement. Super rapport qualité/prix. Bien moins cher que les autres solutions existantes. Bien vérifier que vous avez une alimentation fantôme 48v avant de commander car nécessaire.

Een prima mic booster voor het geld, geeft toch iets meer headroom voor de ingebouwde preamps.
Ik kan niet veel ruis of iets dergelijks waarnemen, de bouwkwaliteit is degelijk (stalen behuizing in ieder geval), en hij kleurt het geluid niet sterk.
