Housed in a 2U rack module, the Black Lion Audio Eighteen is an impressive channel strip (preamp + EQ) that isn't simply based on a single vintage model but features a fresh design inspired by numerous classics. This professional preamp lends its tremendous audio-tweaking potential to double frequency bands and a low-pass shelving filter and, since many will be feeding it with a microphone signal, Black Lion have also built in a phase reverse function, an 80Hz high-pass filter and a 10kHz low-pass filter.
