Who'd have guessed, the Avalon V55 is literally two V5 preamps crammed into one compact unit! Fitted with a 100% discrete class-A circuit, this 2-channel preamp accurately boosts microphones, line signals and any hi-Z instruments. It goes without saying that Avalon have equipped the V55 with their famed Tone Shape function, which offers 10 carefully selected passive EQ curves so you can easily add a bit of high-end to any vocal or acoustic guitar recordings, or extra dose of low-mids when capturing the sound of a bass. Whatever you're recording, the Avalon V55 makes sure it already sounds like a record right from the start.
