Algemeen:
De Aphex Channel is een éénkanaals preamp en voiceprocessor met RPA buizenvoorversterker, EasyRider compressor, Logic assisted gate, split-band De-Esser, Parametrische EQ, Aural Exciter en Big Bottom. Hij is ideaal voor broadcasting, voiceovers, en vocalen. Deze drie toepassingen kunnen geoptimaliseerd worden met behulp van de Channel. De kwaliteit van de stem wordt verhoogd door hem meer open en gecontroleerd te laten klinken. Dit kan met de Pre Amp/Voiceprocessor van Aphex.

Techniek achter de Channel
De Aphex Easyrider is een compressor die zorgt voor een hoge kwaliteit dynamiek processing. Hiernaast is de Logic assisted gate voor een gecontroleerde triggering zonder valse triggers. De split-band de-esser rekent af met overtollige sissende medeklinkers zonder aangrenzende hoge frequenties. Daarnaast hebben we nog de parametrische EQ en Aural Exciter om verstaanbaarheid, aanwezigheid en detail van de vocals te verhogen.
